Welcome
Placekeeping is a public atlas of places worth caring for. Some places you can tend yourself. Others you can only photograph.
You can explore through the map. Places are organized into sites, such as parks, schools, and other properties, and spots, which are the rooms within them.
On the spot page, you can can click one of the address levels to see the map and pins for that area. You can also see a slideshow for all of the observation photos there, such as for New York. Some photos have the species identified, and in New York they’re marked if the species is on the state’s invasive species list.
Sign up so you can contribute -- you can become a placekeeper and help build our atlas.
